The goal of this solicitation is to attract research proposals that advance a fundamental, process, and/or systems-level understanding of the Arctic's rapidly changing natural environment, social and cultural systems, and, where appropriate, to improve our capacity to project future change. The Arctic Sciences Section supports research focused on the Arctic region and its connectivity with lower latitudes.

Grants of up to $5,000 to Iowa nonprofit organizations in eligible areas for programs that enhance the quality of life for local residents. Funding is intended for projects and initiatives within the focus areas of health, education, religion, culture, recreation, and preserving and enhancing local heritage. Eligible projects benefit the residents of the Pella area.

We award two separate $25,000 women-owned business grants at the end of each year. The first $25,000 grant goes to one of our previous $10,000 monthly Amber Grant winners. The other $25,000 grant goes to one of our previous $10,000 monthly Business Category Grant winners.

The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The overarching goal of this R25 program is to support educational activities that encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those from groups underrepresented in the biomedical and behavioral sciences, to pursue further studies or careers in research.
