Accelerating the Pace of Child Health Research Using Existing Data from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study (R21-Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

$10000000
NATIONWIDE

The ABCD Study, launched in 2015, is the largest long-term study of brain development and child health in the United States, collecting data from nearly 12,000 youth and their parents/caregivers beginning at ages 9 and 10.

Research projects of this magnitude often generate data with utility beyond the specific objectives for which they were originally designed. Secondary analyses of existing data sets are a cost-effective means to test new hypotheses and develop novel experimental designs.
